Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026
Rocky Mountain Fireworks & Fur Co. operates this website and online store. This policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.
Information we collect
- Orders and checkout: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, products ordered, order total, shipping selection, and transaction details needed to process and support an order.
- Accounts: your email address, account credentials, saved account information, and order history if you create an account. Passwords are managed by the website’s account system.
- Messages: the name, email address, subject, and message you provide through our contact form or when you contact us directly.
- Website use and security: technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, cookies, and information used to maintain the cart, sign-in session, site security, and fraud prevention.
How we use information
We use this information to process payments and orders, calculate shipping, arrange delivery, provide account access, respond to questions, send order or account messages, protect the website, prevent fraud, and meet recordkeeping or legal obligations. We do not ask you to send payment-card details through the contact form.
Payments, shipping, and other service providers
Our store uses Authorize.net for card payment processing. Payment information entered at checkout is handled by the site’s payment integration and Authorize.net so a transaction can be authorized and completed. We keep order and transaction information needed to administer the purchase.
We share the information needed to calculate rates and deliver an order with shipping services, including UPS where that service is used. Depending on the step, this can include destination details, package or cart details, and the recipient’s name and contact information.
We also use service providers that help host and operate the website, send site and order emails, protect against abuse (including Wordfence and Google reCAPTCHA), and maintain the store. These providers may process technical or customer information needed for their services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the store and its customers.
Cookies and similar technology
The site uses cookies and similar storage to keep your cart and checkout working, remember a signed-in session, and support security features. Google reCAPTCHA may process device and interaction information to help detect automated abuse. You can manage cookies in your browser, but blocking essential cookies may prevent the cart, checkout, or account features from working.
How long we keep information
We keep account, order, and contact information for as long as needed to provide the service, handle questions and disputes, maintain business and tax records, and meet legal requirements. Security records and cookies have different lifetimes depending on their purpose and site settings. If you would like us to review information associated with you, contact us using the details below.
Your choices and requests
You can update some account details by signing in. You may ask us to provide, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to identity verification and records we must keep for legitimate business or legal reasons. Contact us using the email, phone number, or mailing address below. We will review your request under applicable law.
Security and other websites
We use website security measures to help protect information, but no website or transmission is completely secure. Links to other websites, including social media and payment or shipping services, are governed by those services’ own policies when you visit them.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our website or services change. The effective date above shows when this version was published.
